Salvaging Danvers State Insane Asylum

The Kirkbride Complex consisted of 17 buildings erected between 1874-1878.
The Administration Building was a 23,600 square foot dormitory building constructed in 1928.
The Bonner Building was constructed in 1955 for use as a medical facility.
Several cottages, built between 1850 and 1932 still existed on the property
as well as several maintenance, storage and former farming structures
